Hello to all my 3rd class. Mrs Lucey here. I hope you and your families are keeping safe and well. I am sending you on some suggestions for work for the 2 weeks after the Easter Holidays 20th April to 1st of May. It is just a menu and only do what best suits your circumstances at home. You do not have to complete all the work.
Gaeilge: Log onto www.edco.ie/bua.
Revise phrases already learnt and put to practice at home in daily life.
Maths: Continue next 10 days of Mental Maths.
Practice time using T.V guides (length of programmes etc.).
Tables: continue with multiplication and division 6 and 7.
English: Continue English in Practice for the next 10 days.
Jolly Grammar next 2 units and include spellings.
Just Handwriting (1 page per day).
Reading Zone – Choose 2 stories and do activities orally with an adult.
SESE: Choose a unit from Small World History and do activities orally. (Small World Series available online).
Other Activities: There are various activities available on the school website.

Watch RTE School Home Hub daily on RTE 2 from 11 am.
Above all make sure to get plenty exercise and fresh air, and include plenty fun activities!!!

- Draw a man using as many 2D shapes as you can in your copy and colour each 2D shape a different colour e.g. squares-red, circles-yellow, rectangles-blue and so on….
