Last week, we said a fond farewell to Ms. Fiona O’Connor, as she began her well-deserved retirement ☺️Throughout her years, she has been a hardworking, diligent and dedicated teacher, always giving her very best to her pupils and to school 🥰 Fiona’s commitment, kindness and professionalism have made a lasting difference, and she will be greatly missed by pupils, colleagues and families alike. We are so grateful for all she has contributed over the years and for the many happy memories she leaves behind. 💐 Wishing you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement Fiona! Enjoy every minute — you will certainly be missed by all 💐

Thank you 😀👔 This Friday, October 9th we have our Mental Health Awareness day, where the school will be taking part in 'Tie Day' 👔 ‘Tie Day Friday' is an event hosted by the Kerry Mental Health Association on World Mental Health Day, Friday, October 9th, where staff and students are encouraged to wear a tie, colourful tie or colourful clothing to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives in Kerry. A donation of €2 per child would be greatly appreciated to support this local charity.Thank you ☺️
A big thank you to Sergeant Jamie Cullen and Garda Martina Desmond for taking the time to visit our Junior and Senior Infants today!The children really enjoyed learning all about the important work of the Gardaí, how they help to keep us safe and the many ways they support our community. 🚓It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to ask questions and learn more about the people who help us every day.Thank you both for such an enjoyable and informative visit! 💙
🎁 Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 🎁Our school is delighted to be taking part in the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal again this year.The Team Hope Shoebox Appeal is an annual initiative that brings the joy of Christmas to children in communities around the world who may be experiencing poverty or difficult circumstances. Children and families can fill a shoebox with small gifts and useful items, which are then delivered to children who may otherwise receive very little at Christmas.Leaflets have gone home this evening with children who are interested in taking part. The leaflet provides information on what can and cannot be included in the shoebox and offers suggestions for suitable items.Please return all completed shoeboxes to the school by Friday, October 23rd, so that they can be collected and sent on their journey.Thank you.
