Our Erasmus+ Project Website September 2018

From 2016-2018, pupils from St. John’s National School took part in an Erasmus+ Project entitled ‘Eurotrading – Young Entrepreneurs on the Move’. We teamed up with five other countries – Greece, England, Spain, Germany and Poland and students got an opportunity to visit these countries as well as set up a business and sell products. The team of six countries put together a website of all our photos, products and activities and we are delighted to share these memories with you. First Class Visit from Author September 2018

First Class had a lovely treat today with a visit from Peter Donnelly, the author of the best-selling picture book of 2017, ‘The President’s Glasses’. Peter has a new book out called ‘The President’s Cat’ which tells the story of a cat who takes a journey across Ireland to get home to the President in Phoenix Park and passes through Kenmare on the way! The cat even paid us a visit today! Thanks to Peter for talking to us and also to Ellen Monnelly from Gill Books Publishing House for organising the visit.
